Little Bird Gardens

Rooted in Charm. Designed to Draw a Crowd.

The Challenge

Little Bird Gardens opened in the spring of 2020—just as the world was shutting down. With no logo, website, or marketing materials, the business needed a clear identity and a fast path to community engagement. The owner, a seasoned landscaper with over 20 years of experience, had a sharp eye for healthy plants and a loyal following, but no digital or print presence.

Designing for Local Growth

I created a full visual identity system that echoed the owner’s values: care, beauty, and resilience. From a hand-drawn logo to web typography and color palette, every detail was tailored to reflect the charm of a small nursery built on relationships.

Deliverables
Business cards, a sandwichboard, gift certificates, newspaper ads, website, marketing emails, and event posters.

Simple Website, Stronger Presence

The website needed to do more than showcase plants—it had to reflect the brand’s personality while outlining services like landscape design and expert installations. Its primary goal was to attract off-Island visitors while also building trust with the local community. I designed a mobile-friendly site that emphasized clarity, charm, and easy ways to get in touch.
